OSIM Highlights Its Revolutionary Technology With Four-Hands Massage Competition

OSIM Malaysia Sdn. Bhd featured the first four-hands massage competition in conjunction with the company’s roadshow at the Cheras Leisure Mall.

The competition, participated by masseurs from six groups under the Federation of Chinese Physicians & Acupuncturists Association of Malaysia (FCPAAM), was aimed at drawing parallels between the conventional approach to massages and OSIM’s own massage technology, featured in the uLove 2 massage chair. In addition, it also enables OSIM to demonstrate the ability of its revolutionary technology in mimicking human hands to provide relief to tensed muscles and body aches.

“In today’s highly competitive world, we depend heavily on technology such as computers and mobile phones to get things done,” said Chia Sook Fun, OSIM Malaysia general manager. However, according to Chia, such lifestyles are detrimental to our cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health, as well as contributes to an increase in people being diagnosed with these non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Chia suggested several preventive actions that people can take to reduce their risks of becoming victims of NCDs such as taking regular breaks, moving around and doing some stretching exercises at intervals. She also added that getting a massage is important to maintain our health as studies have shown that massages have many benefits. “It is also increasingly being offered along with standard treatment for a wide range of medical conditions,” she added.

OSIM’s uLove 2 massage chair, designed by Japanese chiropractic massage expert, Sato Tsuyoshi, who has many years’ experience in conducting massages, is able to provide double the benefits of a typical massage because of the revolutionary four-hands massage technology that effectively emulates the experience of being massaged by two masseurs at the same time.

The uLove 2, one of the latest additions to OSIM Malaysia ’s range of health and well-being equipment, also comes loaded with a variety of unique features. It has an intelligent V-Hand™ massage system that is designed with 720 degrees roller balls that rotates 360 degrees, both horizontally and vertically, to effectively mimic a masseuse’s hands. Moreover, the uLove 2 comes complete with the OSIM mobile app that allows users to pair and control the massage chair seamlessly from their mobile devices. What’s more, the OSIM mobile app also allows users to download new massage programmes every quarter, for free. In addition, this advanced massage chair has built-in state-of-the-art 3D surround sound speakers with wireless music playback system that provides better relaxation experience by allowing users to listen to their favourite tunes.

OSIM is a pioneer producer of health and well-being equipment in the region and offers a wide range of products that are popular with local consumers. The company was also recently recognized for “The Best Spinal Health Protection Brand Award 2018” by the Malaysian Spinal Health Association. Those who are planning to purchase the uLove 2 massage chair, or any other OSIM’s range of health and wellbeing products may have more reasons to purchase them this year as the company is introducing interesting promotions for customers.
