Best Western i-City Shah Alam Hotel Review

School holiday are around the corner, thinking of having a vacations with your kids and family? Let's go to Best Western I-City Shah Alam. The hotel is just next to the i-City theme park and water park. It consists of 18 floors which offering 3 types of rooms : Superior room, Deluxe room and i Suite. The hotel is nice and cozy when i walked into the hotel.

Recently my family have visited and stay in the hotel for few days. When I walked in to the hotel, I like their environment and the friendly check in staff and also the guard that help me to take all my languages to my room. Their services there are good and there is also a simple pressure zone with some drinks and biscuits for your kids or family members to eat when they are waiting you to check in. They can sit at the nice sofa chairs in front of the check-in counter also. The hotel have the room promotion which name My Stay is My Way that allow 24 hours check-in. It is great for me that I can just go after my work or anytime.

The unique of the hotel is they are having the connecting rooms where you can bring your family and kids together to stay in the hotel. We are free to walk from one room to another. One of my room are two single beds and another room will be the king size beds. I was added 1 more bed for my little daughter. My family are taking 2 rooms and there are connected. The bed are conformable and the space are enough for my kids to play. All the essential amenities are provided in the room for us to use.

It was so nice that I went during my daughter birthday, the hotel has decorate the room with the birthday decoration for my daughter and she feels very surprise and happy. Thanks Best Western I-City Shah Alam for the nice decoration.

Every Friday night, they have Seafood BBQ eat-all-you-can Dinner Buffet start from 7pm to 10pm at their alfresco dining area at The View Cafe at Level 5. The view is just nice that you can see the whole i-city while enjoying your dinner there. It is full of seafood for you to pick such as prawn, squid, oyster, fish, salmon and many more. You can just took the seafood and the chef will do the BBQ part and send it to your table. We just sit and enjoy the BBQ dinner. The dinner is cost RM75 nett per adult and RM52.50 nett for child and senior citizen.

We are having a daily buffet breakfast at the same place as well The View Cafe at Level 5 from 6.30am to 10am, just tell your room number to enjoy the breakfast. The hotel also just launch a new Go Beyond Signature menu for all day where you can just order it at The View Cafe at anytimes except breakfast time.

There are total 8 main courses : Cincalok Beef, Salmon Noodles, Sambal Roulade, Malaysian Spaghetti Classic, Satay Burger, Tuna Miso, Coffee Lamb and Stuffed Tempoyak Eggplant in the Go Beyond Signature menu. I have ordered the Satay Burger to eat and my husband eat the Coffee Lamb. My kids are taking the Salmon Noodles and Tuna Miso. My husband said the coffee lamb taste nice. Together with the main courses, there also beverage menu Suck It-Up menu to order all the mix fruit juice drinks. we order three Slushy Mania and two Go Green. You should try out their signature menu where the foods are unique and delicious!

One of the highlight of the vacation is the FREE UNLIMITED access to i-City Water World. The Water World are amazing and fun that full of the water activities. My kids enjoy playing the slides and kindle ship. We also playing with the tube bubble to go in the water. It really fun and enjoy to play together in the water world. The water world opening 10am until 6pm during weekend and school holiday. Normal day will be 11am to 6pm and close on Tuesday.

After playing the whole day at the water world and back to hotel to take bath, we are hungy and feel tired to walk out and just want to rest in the room. Best Western I-City Shah Alam also provided in room dinning, we just need to scan the QR code located near the dressing table in the room to access the food ordering system. I just used my phone to order the food we want for dinner. The app is user friendly and easy to use, just browse through the menu and select the foods to add to cart. After done your order, just check out from the cart to make payment. In just a short while, the foods are sent straight to my room by the hotel associates. You can also make payment when they send the foods to your rooms. We enjoy our dinner in the room after playing the whole day.

Time flies, It is time to check out on Sunday and we are having chance to tried out their Sunday Hi-Tea before check out. The Sunday Hi-Tea is an on-going promo which is on every Sunday from 12.30pm to 4pm. The price is RM45 per adult and 50% discount for child or senior citizen. The high tea will features clown performance and balloon sculpture. The clown has made balloons for my kids and they are so happy while enjoying the high-tea. The hi-tea also have the chocolate fountain that my daughter like it so much to dip the fruit inside. There are also many dessert and malaysia kuih to eat.
