Natugee, an organic skincare product together with Mrs Malaysia World organized a social event "Healthy Is The New Happy! A Better You Today" in this Pink October month to bring awareness of women regarding breast cancer.The event take place at Furama Hotel, Bukit Bintang.
The event focus on how to increase the quality of women's life to educate female to live healthily in both mental and physical. According to the founder & CEO of Natugee Sdn. Bhd. Mrs. Rena Rifaee," a women plays multiple important roles and tend to neglect their own health, not only as a wife, a mother, a child for senior citizens, she also an employee or even own her own company as an employer. When they change and wear multiple hats, the responsible become heavier. If a women do not know how to handle her emotions well, it is easily cause depression," she said.
“Our hope is that this event will educate women not to take lightly for their own health. For example the use of skincare products. We may not be aware that some content in beauty products can actually affect the changes of hormones, which can adversely affect our internal and external health."We want to help women to create awareness and build their self-confidence in today's world," she added.
The first session was with Dr. Linda Mat Hassin exposes participants to symptoms of hormonal imbalance that will affect women's' health and lifestyle.
The second session was with Mrs. Rena Rifaee educating women on misconceptions about skincare products. Although it were cosmetic products, it was undeniable it may also the contributors to women's issues if we using the wrong products.
The highlight of the event was the 'A New Formula For Happiness!' Forum which discusses skin health, hormones, stress management and mental health. It involves four panel members:
I really learn a lot in the event, we as women need to take care our health and handle our emotions properly. When we live happily, all our loves one also will be happy. There are few booths in the event as well. The first booth is the Natugee skincare booth that allow us to fill in a form for us to test our hormone level so that we know whether we have hormone imbalance.
The second booth is Waka Waka Playland. The playland is located at LG floor, Furama Hotel. When all the parent attended the event at level 3, our kids enjoy playing at the Waka Waka Playland at LG. Their booth provide a wheel of fortune game for us to play and I won an 1 hour free play pass. My kids enjoy so much playing at the Waka Waka Playland.
The last booth is TAP app by The AsianParent. An apps that joined by all Asian parent to find resources about parenting, baby and children. There are also a wheel for us to spin and i get 200 points that are redeemable for reward in their apps.
