PLAY-DOH® Month Celebration "Shape a Colorful Community" Roadshow

I have attended the PLAY-DOH® Month Celebration Roadshow on 26 September 2015 at Ground Floor Highstreet 1 Utama with my daugter and my sister. The event start on 9.30am and it was so crowded and overwhelming since the morning with the long queue at the registration counter. We have to fill in the form to state the number of sculptures that we want to built, the organizer give us some colors of PLAY-DOH® and few pieces of card boards to write our name and put the sculpture that we are going to built.

Thanks to the first-ever PLAY-DOH® Month Celebration, I see many families are busy sculpting and me myself are having so much fun and enjoying when building the sculpture with my daughter.  My daughter is inspired and very concentrate in creating a flower sculpture.

Here are the sculptures that we have produce in the event, can you guess what are there?

The answer is : KLCC, Duck, Hibiscus and Turtle. We are having so much fun and feel great for what we have created. Our sculptures was exhibited on the giant PLAY-DOH® stands after we submit it. All of the sculptures are displayed in a vast exhibition of colors and creativity reflecting Malaysia’s colorful community.

There are PLAY-DOH® areas that let all the kids to try out the free play of the new PLAY-DOH® Cupcake Celebration Playset and Swirl and Scoop Ice Cream at the Sweet Shoppe!

There are kids lining up to wear the apron and create an ice-cream or cupcake sculpture to take picture with the PLAY-DOH® mascot. My daughter was taking picture with the PLAY-DOH® mascot with the cupcake she made.

It was a competition for the most creative sculpture and the photos below show all the shortlisted sculptures. It is really a hard decision to select the winner as all of them are great and the winner's sculptures being circle out.

The most creative sculpture above 13 year old is won by a 36-year-old Dad, Alvin Teoh with a Doh Doh sculpture. The winner of the most creative sculpture for the category of below 12 years old is 7-year-old Aina Qistina with a basket of local fruits. These winning pieces will also enjoy their place of glory on the PLAY-DOH® website.

On that day, It achieved the most PLAY-DOH® sculptures created in a single day and to be submitted to The Malaysia Book of Records. The total numbers of sculpture that created on that day is 1,899 sculptures.

Congrats to the winners and PLAY-DOH® to be in The Malaysia Book of Records. I really enjoy the events and roadshows to the max with my daughter. Hope that PLAY-DOH® will have this celebrations or roadshows every years after receiving a great success for this year.
