I just joined a day out with Po the Panda at Sunway Putra
Mall recently. It is at the Main Atrium which comes alive with the laughter of
Yayasan Chow Kit (YCK) children as they spent a fun day out with Po the Panda.
The event was started by the speech by Mr HC Chan, CEO of Sunway
Shopping Malls and Theme Park. “I am sure the children are very eager to watch
the latest movie sequel. And I do hope they will be impressed upon with the
values and traits of the various characters like Po’s strong determination to
be a Kung Fu master despite many challenges and lend a helping hand to those in
need, “ said Mr. HC Chan.
It followed by the appearance of friendly Po the panda to
stop and took pictures with his adoring fans.
Shortly after, the children were treated to hone their
artistic skills in Boa’s Art and Craft workshop facilitated by The Parenthood,
Malaysia 1st London Street Family Park, where they were taught how
to assemble creative art pieces that literally pop up using special pieces of
coloured material.
After that, it was time to shake things up and party to some
upbeat music in the Mei Mei Zumba dance class. Following the easy-to-learn
moves, the children had lots of fun dancing to the beat of the lively music.
Lastly, the children were also treated to watch the movie,
Kung Fu Panda 3 at TGV Cinemas and thoroughly enjoyed themselves with the
action and comedy of the animated characters on the screen. We all enjoy the
movie so much.
